Message to our Members and Friends,
For the health and safety of our staff, members, renters and the public, AFCOOP will be closed until further notice starting Tuesday, March 17th.
All upcoming workshops, events, equipment rentals and facility bookings are cancelled. AFCOOP programs including FILM 5, FILM 1 and Lens Shift will be postponed. The Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival at this point is still proceeding as planned for June, however we will make a call about postponing the festival by the end of March.
AFCOOP staff will continue to work from home and will be accessible via email during regular office hours. If you have any questions about upcoming events or bookings please feel free to get in touch with the appropriate staff person.
AFCOOP staff and board will continue to monitor the advice of provincial and federal health officials and will evaluate reopening when it is determined safe to do so. We wish everyone in the community the best during this difficult time.
