Every year ’round this time AFCOOP challenges local filmmakers to create short and silent holiday(ish) themed films using a single role of Super-8 film.
The guidelines are simple : you get one cartridge of Super-8 (approx. 3 min. shooting time), a two-day camera rental and your film must be shot all ‘in-camera’ (no editing). The first time you see your film will be in front of a live audience!
No experience with Super-8? No problem! AFCOOP staff will give you a quick tutorial on the camera before your shoot.
Cost: $50/60 (AFCOOP member/non-member)
This includes: Super-8 film (colour or b&w), two-day camera rental, processing, digital transfer and an exclusive screening!
Contest opens: Oct. 23rd 2014
Deadline for shooting your film: Dec. 1st
Screening + Party: Dec. 18th 7pm @ the Bus Stop Theatre
Contact AFCOOP for more info or to book your camera: firstname.lastname@example.org
