CBC TELEVISION'S DOWNLOAD PROGRAM IS LOOKING FOR FILMS

CBC DOWNLOAD is now on the air!

DOWNLOAD is a new kind of program designed for the Maritimes. It’s a one-hour show but think of it as a television channel dedicated to broadcasting comedy, drama, music, documentaries and interviews all made in the Maritimes.

DOWNLOAD is accessible in new ways so viewers can choose the programs they want to see, whenever they want to watch them …on television, on the internet and by podcast.

DOWNLOAD is one hundred per cent home grown entertainment – great stories and shows available for you to see at your convenience.

Download is looking for films and programs for the show. They must:

- Be less than 25 minutes in length.

- Be suitable for a general or adult audience.

- Have strong production values.

- Have NOT been broadcast in Canada.

Download pays a modest license fee for films. They do waive E & O insurance, provided clearance reports are submitted including those for music, actors and copyright. This a tremendous opportunity to have Maritime films broadcast to a Maritime audience.
