Halifax Public Library, BMO Community Room
A meeting for artists and arts groups to discuss current and future needs for studio, office, creation and production spaces in HRM.
Refreshments will be served
This will be an opportunity to:
-get updates and find out about ongoing and emerging arts development projects;
-network with other arts groups and artists who are interested in securing affordable, long-term space in HRM;
-identify possible partnerships for space collectives and “cultural hub” type developments in HRM;
-help us to map out and identify the kinds of arts and creative spaces that are presently needed or will be needed going into the future
-discuss advocacy and how we can collectively secure long-term space for artists and arts organizations in HRM;
