After film school, many filmmakers go about their filmmaking practice without talking about their craft regularly again. The purpose of Coop Chats is to change this!
Coop Chats will bring together a group of filmmakers to talk about a specific filmmaking topic. These are not classes or workshops, they are conversations. The idea is to share information, ideas, tips, tricks and best practices in a particular area. The chats will be moderated by staff (and special guest hosts), and participants will be free to contribute as much or as little as they feel comfortable. With this in mind the sessions will be capped at 12 participants. All the sessions are free for AFCOOP Members ($5 for non-members) so register asap!
At present the chats will be held through Zoom but it is our intention that after the quarantine ends these chats will be continued in our physical space.
