BIO:
Cinematographer/videographer for over 35 years. Studied at NSCAD, Dalhousie University and trained at AFCOOP. Began in picture and music editing at the National Film Board then worked as camera assistant on numerous documentaries, TV dramas, feature films, and music videos travelling to Africa, Europe, Australia and across North America. Also led workshops in basic filmmaking, animation, and cinematography to groups from preschool to adult at Afcoop, Viewfinders Film Festival for Youth, ArtsSmarts and in the NS school system. Since 2005 have been shooting documentaries and corporate videos for various independent producers and broadcasters, on a wide-range of topics including the arts, the environment, and human/cultural issues. Recipient of a 2016 Wave Award from Women in Film – Atlantic.
