BIO:
Lulu Keating has been a filmmaker since 1980, making at least one film a year since then. Her films cover all genres: documentary, dramatic features and shorts, animation and experimental. She incorporated Red Snapper Films Limited in 1985. In addition to her independent work she has made films with the National Film Board of Canada, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and other broadcasters. Her work has been programmed in festivals from Chicago to Copenhagen to Harare and has been honored with numerous awards. In recent years Keating has been focusing on writing. Her short story collection Splinter and Shard has been sold by Samantha Haywood of Transatlantic Agency to Susan Renouf at ECW Press and will be released in early 2024. Keating is currently writing her first novel, Klondike Codfish.
